We cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. He worked with both of our sons, helping them achieve higher grades in Maths while also building something even more valuable, the confidence to believe in their own abilities.

Daniel’s teaching approach gave them practical strategies and tools that suited their individual learning styles, particularly as visual learners. He explained concepts clearly and made challenging topics much easier to understand, helping them develop confidence in problem-solving and independent study.

The progress both boys made was remarkable, and the confidence Daniel instilled in them played a significant role in their academic success. Thanks to his support, guidance, and encouragement, they were able to achieve the grades needed to move on to their chosen universities.

I cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. My sons weekly sessions with Daniel has been an absolute game-changer for my son’s education and confidence, guiding him through a multi-year journey from Primary 6 all the way through to his Higher Maths.
When we first started in P6, the goal was navigating the high-pressure private school entrance exams. Not only did my son pass with flying colours, but Daniel also instilled a foundational love for the subject that carried him seamlessly into senior school. Since then, Daniel has expertly steered him through his National 5s and, most recently, his Highers which he was awarded A’s in both.

Daniel made a difference to both our kids. My son benefited from Daniel’s approach to study in order to go from 50% in a prelim’ to an A in his Higher exam, which sealed his place in a very demanding University course and start his career in the Aerospace industry.
For our daughter, the school were considering not allowing her to sit Nat5 Maths. Daniel support to her learning was instrumental in her achievement of an A grade for National 5. He then supported her A grade in her Higher exam.
For me, these results say it all. Daniel is a great Maths tutor who built up a real rapport with our kids to inspire them in their studies. He was also a lovely guy to chat to when he came round every week.

I was tutored by Daniel from Nat 5 all the way through to advanced higher level and it was a fantastic experience.

What stood out the most was how comfortable he made everything feel. I genuinely looked forward to his lessons, which, for maths, says a lot. I’ve had other tutors for other subjects and sessions with Daniel were by far the most enjoyable and productive ones. There was never any pressure when asking questions or going over something. He consistently went over the allocated time whenever we needed it, never making it feel like an imposition.

Daniel was an integral part of our son’s education from National 5 through to Advanced Higher level in Mathematics. He took a low performing 3rd year pupil to a consistent A level pass across the levels and inspired him to take up the challenge of an integrated Masters course in Astrophysics where the skills and knowledge nurtured through Daniel’s tutelage have been integral to ongoing success.
